Substance with rich properties, Eco Ethanol Can be used as fuel. Renewable source of energy, could play an outstanding part in the future. Eco Ethanol is a bio-fuel (beet root alcohol), a source of energy provided by agriculture, a product of the future which respects the environment and the atmosphere but also economizes all the non renewable sources of energy such as oil, gas and coal.
Indeed, using bio fuels allows to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide and therefore also to reduce greenhouse gases.
Eventually, Eco Ethanol diffuses radiant heat which warms up an entire room without giving you the feeling of "hot in front and cold behind".

Made specially for our fireplaces, heating Eco Ethanol is sold in liquid form in 20 Liter Jerry cans.
Our customers can be supplied (and delivered) by ordering on our Internet web site.
Beet root alcohol used as fuel is totally denatured "according to a process which has been notified and approved according to § 3 and 4 disposals and to article 27 in directive n°92/83/from the EEC Council held on 19/10/1992; considered as meeting the standards as defined in article n°302 A from the general Tax code.

Eco Ethanol is delivered in secure Jerry cans. We advise you, however, never:
- to store Eco Ethanol within the reach of children.
- to store Eco Ethanol near a source of heat or a flame (a boiler, for instance)
A cellar or a garage are recommended places.

Of course, these are real "heating devices", they develop 7 KW.
Speaking generally, in a 40 to 50 m² room, you will turn off all other source of heat (radiator, gas heating, etc...) and therefore save a lot of money on your main traditional heating system.
1 liter of Eco Ethanol develops 7 KW when burning.

As a matter of fact, it is better to think in terms of hourly cost the in cost per liter. Our calculations show that the combustion of 500 ml of liquid takes approximately 1 to 2 hours for an average cost of 50 cents to 1 Euro an hour.
This price is balanced by the savings you make on your main heating system, which is generally turned off while you are using the fireplace.

If a problem occurred during transportation, you must, however,respect a specific procedure:
- Keep a copy of the transportation voucher which was given to you by the delivery man, on which you have written precisely your observations and complaints (description of damage)
-Send a complaint letter by certified mail to the carrier (his address is mentioned on the transportation voucher) Mention the exact date and time of delivery, your name and address and the transportation number and mail a copy to Direct Cheminée ZI du Casque, 40 rue Aristide Berges. 31270 Cugnaux.

Your fireplace will be delivered by courier service. Upon reception, please check the packaging.
If it happens to be bumped or damaged, open the package in the presence of the delivery man. If the fireplace is in perfect state, sign the transportation voucher. If it shows the merest damage, write down your observations and complaints in detail and describe the problem. Mentioning "subjected to later check-up" has no value.
Only a precise description will be accepted by the insurance company. Any problem due to transportation must be mentioned on the reception voucher of which you must keep a copy.

A fireplace is a source of heat so burns are possible.
As for any other fireplace "wood" or stove, certain specific precautions must be taken:
- Always keep children Eco Ethanol away from the fireplace.
- Do not let children light the fireplace or play alone in front of it.

Obviously, some education is necessary which is parents responsibility.
When you start the fireplace up for the first time, it often makes sense to show young children the beauty of a fire but also its danger.
We offer accessories such as a « window kit » allowing you to keep your fireplace safe.
